Maxfield Parrish Style Ceramic Sculpture
Superbly fired ceramic of man in contemplative posture. Green glaze has added black flecks, giving sculpture an aged bronze look. Jumper tunic and old fashioned buckled shoes and man's raw-boned face are reminiscent of Parrish's characters. Ceramic looks very arts and crafts in style. Excellent original condition. Artist unknown.
