We are showcasing people who buy Midcentury at our store. Clients have good-naturedly consented to pose. We will periodically post photographs of buyers with their "stuff" either in the store or in their homes. You'll see folks from Richmond-- The Fan, Oregon Hill, West End, Far West End, across the river, North Side, Henrico, Goochland, Hanover, Petersburg, and north to Fairfax and down Williamsburg and Norfolk way. Our faithful keep coming back to Metro Modern to talk, to look, to make comparisons with other sources and eventually to select a keeper for a special place in their home. Half the fun is knowing who gets what, where it's going and and why. We genuinely appreciate having repeat customers and we are happy to meet new ones. We thank you. All of YOU create our success.

Marcie Bough

Pleased with her birthday gift purchase, Marcie Bough knew her husband, Kip Dawkins, would appreciate the Seiko Rosewood World Clock. Kip would especially love the large and small airplane hands which revolve around the globe, showing far-away, romantic James Bond places like Karachi, and St. Moritz.

Charlotte Hinson

Charlotte Hinson became very excited when she discovered that the George Nelson style case piece was a perfect fit for her entry foyer in her South Side home. She said when she or her husband Michael Boss walk in the door, the first item they see is the small credenza. She said, "The piece was made for the space! Love it!"

Ryan and Emily Clark

Ryan and Emily Clark loved the George Nelson JAX and knew they would look great in their West Side home. The JAX have been carefully placed on a case piece in their bedroom where they can be admired leisurely.

Joe and Viv Bruzzese
Joe and Viv Bruzzese have consistently acquired arts & crafts and art deco pieces in their Byrd Park home. They agree, however, that this Florence Knoll Rosewood Table looks wonderful in their dining room. The elliptical Florence Knoll top and chrome legs allow the table to float and to compliment their art deco sideboard nicely.
