We are showcasing people who buy Midcentury at our store. Clients have good-naturedly consented to pose. We will periodically post photographs of buyers with their "stuff" either in the store or in their homes. You'll see folks from Richmond-- The Fan, Oregon Hill, West End, Far West End, across the river, North Side, Henrico, Goochland, Hanover, Petersburg, and north to Fairfax and down Williamsburg and Norfolk way. Our faithful keep coming back to Metro Modern to talk, to look, to make comparisons with other sources and eventually to select a keeper for a special place in their home. Half the fun is knowing who gets what, where it's going and and why. We genuinely appreciate having repeat customers and we are happy to meet new ones. We thank you. All of YOU create our success.

Brian Chapman Patrick Meeley Craig Coles

In town for Beth and Brian Chapman's wedding, long time Metro Modern owners Brodi Rich--now in Boston and Patrick Meeley--now in LA-- stopped in to visit and stand still long enough for Craig Coles to create a Metro Modern moment.

Shane and Mel O'Brien

Shane and Mel O'Brien own Hepcat Restorations in Elk Grove, California. One of their passions is collecting and restoring Carlo paintings. When they bought this unusual lit pair from Metro Modern, their collection grew to 85 pieces. Their collection is displayed throughout their home. Check out their website: hepcatrestorations.com and take a look at the many Carlos they own in a variety of interesting frames.

Julie and Howard

With very active daughters Julie Ann and Elizabeth, a busy home life and J. Eckstein Law practice, Julie and her husband Howard decided to remodel their master bath and add some calm and glamour with a few carefully edited pieces. Julie added a Le Klint Pendant and a extravagant vanity chair to create a new elegant space in her Mechanicsville home.

Jessica Johnson

Jessica Johnson came in several times to look at the Venetian Flower Chandelier. When she purchased a new home, she finally had the impetus to negotiate a better price and to buy the chandelier. She thinks it will look fabulous in her new Museum District home.
