This 1950s low-slung ranch house is beautifully sited on the property. The facade offers generous roof lines, and a mix of brick, block, glass and steel. One end of the house wall extends onto the planting area, offering an interesting cut-out, altering the planes of the frontal elevation. The central wall of glass and steel acts as a street mirror for the passerby. The opposite end of the house is anchored by a generous carport. The steel posts function as visible supports, giving the house one more midcentury element. Additionally, the landscaping follows the contours of the house's architecture with vertical and horizontal plantings.
