2 Tuckahoe Boulevard
Richmond Mid Century House # 10 designed by Alan McCullough, Sr., Architect
2 Tuckahoe Boulevard
Designed in 1957 by Richmond architect Alan McCullough, Sr., this house has been maintained and preserved by the original owner. This large custom ranch-style house has expansive site lines and both a primary and several secondary entry points. Generous multiple A- line sloping roofs sit on brick walls with cut-out patios and windows. Entry is one cut out utilizing brick, glass and wood --creating a generous entry foyer. An interlocking patterndesign brick wall encloses a living room patio. Patio has generous sliding door access. Flagstone is used in both entry way and patio. Sloping roofs, clerestory windows, sliding doors and large windows throughout the house offer light and a strong connection to the out-of-doors.
