Poul Henningsen PH Artichoke Pendant Lamp

Denmark, 1958

The artichoke is considered a masterpiece. The structure is made of twelve steel arches with 72 leaves in twelve circular row with six blades in each row. All rows are staggered, allowing the leaves to overlap. As a consequence a person never sees a direct light source. Manufactured by Louis Poulsen Lighting. Pendant is in very good to excellent condition.
