Paul Osrergaard started producing globes in 1909--with attention to detail and design in his Berlin factory. After WW II, Paul Oestergaard, Jr. continued globe manufacturing in Stuttgart. This planetarium has several rotating parts-- orange satellite moon, planet earth and lamp acting as sun when lit. All components are driven by pulleys and rotate in a wide arc showing movement.
