USA, Mid Century
This photographer's lamp was originally invented by Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo. This lamp's concave cotton shade has seen a lot of use. The shade diffuses and reflects the light to highlight artwork or to cast a warm glow onto a wall. Cotton shade tilts 360 degrees and turns on its axis. Tripod base adjusts to desired height. Fabulous conversation piece. Rewired for home use with cotton covered cord. Good as found condition.
