These original five Mao Posters each depict Mao as the central figure in shaping Chinese history and life. Mao's face appears smooth, serene and usually shadowless. Posters are all captioned and dated. Paper on which posters are printed is inexpensive and were probably for placement in public spaces or to hang at home. Posters commemorate specific Chinese virtues or special Chinese holidays. Generally very good condition. Posters never hung. Unframed.
