Mexico, 1960s
Hand crafted coffee table. Rosewood marquetry runs in an interlocking pattern on table surface. Solid rosewood legs are attached to table with rosewood
key pins. When pins are loosened, legs slide out of slots. This was a Don Shoemaker trademark: tourists visiting his Santa Maria Guido workshop
Senal in the state of Michoacan, Mexico, who wished to purchase, could easily pull pegs out to release legs and carry table and legs easily. Table has great design and is in very good condition. More information available upon request.
