Denmark, 1950s
Beautiful. Very early examples and rarely available. Wegner's design in the curvature of the back rest is both delicate and masterful, offering strength and sculptural finesse. Center of back rest has joined wedges in slivers of horizontal woods. Chairs retain original finish which has darkened to a wonderful patina. Cane seats are also original and show some wear but very few splits. Overall very good condition.
