USA, 1960s
Inspired by the constructivist theories of the
De Stjil movement, Breuer reduced the Wassily chair to its most elemental lines and planes when he designed the original in 1925. This 1960s chair is constructed of cowhide belting leather and seamless tubular steel overlaid with polished chrome.
Chair has excellent chrome and very little wear on the leather. Manufactured by Knoll.
