When first introduced, this Hermes typewriter was the lightest and smallest of its type. The typewriter was instantly popular with journalists and writers because it was lightweight and easy for storage and travel. Metal typewriter is in good working order-- may need a new ribbon and it comes with a metal cover case. Typewriter was distributed by Bolex stores but made by Paillard & Cie in Switzerland. Very good vintage condition.
