USA, Austria, France 1960s
Enamel on copper flowered during the 1950s and 1960s. Enamel on copper plates were art --either realistic or abstracted. The enamels were also utilitarian-- to hold or display food or other objects. Some enamel artists such as Davidson and Wyman produced a large body of works which continue to be prized and collected. Enamels shown are in very good original condition and a small number available. Enamels signed on verso either in metal or paper labels.
