industrial design which utilized new materials. Book shelf’s framework is solid iron which holds suspended oak planks as shelves. Shelving unit has a crank knob tilting shelves all the way to flat, turning shelves into a table top. Very arts & crafts but newly industrial and intriguing. Stamped “patent and date on top plank. In very good condition with age appropriate wear.
