Cherner's design was absolutely lyrical in creating these
Pretzel chairs. Four to five layers of walnut ply used on chair body. Impossibly ballooned arms are ten or more layers of maple ply offering a visual contrast to chair body and legs. Seemingly delicate in appearance, chairs are surprisingly sturdy and have no chips or breaks or repairs. Original nails and original tag. Very good vintage condition.
